# BrainTrust App Guide

> Public guide to BrainTrust company reviews, Basic and Advanced Lists, access, filters, and Favorites.

This document describes the workspace. It does not contain Advanced directory rows, access codes, account details, or anyone's saved Favorites.

## Companies

Search public company profiles and use the country, industry, and services filters. Open a row with its name or expansion button to read company details, then select View reviews to open the company's published community reviews.
Reviews can describe positive, negative, or neutral experiences. Displayed ratings summarize the published reviews shown on the company page.

## Payment Systems

Payment-platform feedback is in development. This guide does not imply that a provider comparison or payment-platform review collection is already available.

## Basic Lists

Browse the public directory records for Subtitling & Dubbing, Game Localization, and Literary Translation & Publishing. Select a database and sheet, search the table, and filter the available fields. On smaller screens, Filters opens a drawer; Columns controls the visible fields.
Open a company name or expansion button for notes, websites, and available application points. The presence of a record is a research lead, not a job offer or a guarantee that a company accepts applications.

## Advanced Lists and access

Advanced Lists contain expanded research, notes, and available industry contacts. A valid email and access code grant access to the chosen databases; the app checks access before showing their records.
Select Get Advanced for access instructions, or I have a code to enter your email and code. The current access instructions describe a €5 monthly donation through WhyDonate, followed by an emailed Google Form to choose lists and an access code to use in the app.
Authorized users can manage or extend access from their profile. Expired access or databases outside the user's grant remain unavailable.

## Favorites

Use the heart in a Basic or Advanced directory row to save it, and select the heart again to remove it. Favorites groups saved rows and lets you reopen their original database and sheet.
Guest favorites are kept in the browser. A verified Advanced account can sync favorites to its profile. Saved Advanced rows still require valid access to view their contents.

## Navigation

Use the sidebar to switch sections, the sidebar arrow to collapse it on desktop, or the menu button on smaller screens. Take a tour opens the guided workspace introduction. Back to site returns to the public website.
The links above open a section or database directly. The app guide is public and does not unlock any protected content.
